Connecting without social media

It's been a pretty crazy few years post-covid and I feel like everyone is pretty tired and ready for a much simpler life. Myself included. If you're like me at all and are chronically online, I have found some truly amazing people in all kinds of social media and I have treasured their friendships. But unfortunately not all social media can remain to help keep these friendships going. 

I hope people can read this sometime in the future and understand that this entire school was built on the connections with people from social media like Tiktok, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. I am loving just how different people flock to one type of content and create a thriving, worldwide online community. I hope that connection is something that can continue, no matter the platform.

Right at this moment, I am still building the foundations of this dressmaking school. I have dreams of creating multiple spaces for all different kinds of dressmaking, fashion design, pattern making, corsetry and even setting up a business to create your own dressmaking business. I also want to one day give the space for other sewing teachers and dressmakers a chance to create their own classes here in the school. That's a really big goal of mine and I hope to bring that into reality very soon.

So while so many people are in a big state of change right now, I hope we can all continue connecting with each other and growing this space for all to enjoy.
