Corsetry Class

Here's the full 6 week curriculum

•  Week 1: We’ll kick things off with everything you need to know to get started—tools, equipment, fabrics, and an overview of styles and silhouettes. Plus, I’ll help you decide what kind of corsets you want to create!
•  Week 2: The Morgan Overbust Corset. This is where we dive into measurements, pattern adjustments, construction techniques, and some beautiful embellishment ideas. This is the essential corset to make that has all the basic techniques you need.
•  Week 3: The Mae Underbust Corset. Here we will learn how to fit around the hips and create a supportive and comfortable corset.
•  Week 4: The Mina Overbust Corset. This is the corset style you see in all the gorgeous dresses and it’s the perfect design for your gown patterns.
•  Week 5: The Peggy Underbust Corset. This design creates a perfect cinch at the underbust to bring in a maxi dress or baggy shirt for the feminine touch.
•  Week 6: The Adeline Integrated Overbust Corset. You wanted to learn about integrated corsetry? This is the one you wanted! A cupped corset made with cotton bobbinet fabric that is used as the internal structure for a gown.

Each Monday at 8am (Brisbane time), you’ll get access to the week’s video lessons and materials, and on Saturdays 12pm and again at 8pm (Brisbane time), we’ll meet live to go over all your questions, answer questions, and celebrate your progress. All lives will be recorded and can be accessed when you're ready. Check them out in the Corset Makers community meet ups!

At the end of the 6 weeks:

• You will have access to the entire class to come back to at any time
• Each corset pattern will be adjusted for 3 very different body shapes.
• Only the class students will get access to the full pattern collection of 20 patterns! The 5 original corset templates + the 15 patterns made in the class!
• Full access to the dedicated corset makers community for all students past and present.
